The most dangerous place...

Walking adventures around Hamilton's downtown are simply the best. Even though it was terribly windy for some unknown reason... my best friend and I headed down towards Cannon and James. We were on a mission to check out the newest fabric store that opened just a few steps from the crossroads.

Needlework is a wonderful little place filled with lofty ceilings (gold painted as well!) and delicious fabrics! As well as patterns and notions. Spending a good amount of time scanning through their expertly chosen fabrics, I purchased a lovely bundle of fabrics and we headed out with visions of quilts in our heads. Please if you live in the Hamilton area (or even if you don't!) please go out and check out this amazing store! You'll feel as welcomed as I have even with just two visits under my belt!

I went back this morning to purchase some more fabrics because I want to try to make the Spider Web Block. I first saw this pattern through pinterest.com and instantly fell in love with it. I am planning to use some of these wonderful fabrics (purchased at Needlework)...
I'll hopefully upload some photos this week of in-progress shots!

I also cannot wait to sit in my lovely armchair and read this wonderful new magazine I picked up!
I have seen this posted in a few blogs a long while ago. It came with a cute little needle case materials.

Also made a cute little drawstring bag out of a t-shirt a co-worker gave me. It was too small for me and I did not want to part with it because of its cute print. So I made a little bag with it. It might do well as a lunch bag or for traveling.

So off I go to read my new magazine and sip some sweet sweet coca-cola. Tootles!
